Cruise boats leave regularly from the harbour and mix with a diverse range of craft including Antarctic supply vessels, catamarans, kayaks, fishing boats and square riggers. The harbour is the destination for super yachts competing in the famous Sydney to Hobart Race that starts on Boxing Day and culminates in a hive of activity on the docks – which increases each day as the yachts complete the race and the crews join with the locals to party hard!
